The challenge
The site sat on a retail park next to a busy main road, with utilities serving more than just the hotel running through the survey area, so traffic management and precise identification were both needed.
Our solution
We used a one metre closed centre GPR grid across the extension footprint for the highest detail, widening to a ten metre grid across the rest of the site, and numbered and photographed every manhole as we went.
The outcome
The client received a fully detailed report and a set of drawings finished to a high standard, giving the design team a clear and complete record of the site.
